Australia Post tracking number format

Australia Post registered international delivery is assigned an international tracking number in the WPU (World Postal Union) format (S10 standard).

The format of the tracking number for Australia Post is as follows:

For packages with weight from 2 to 20 kg (parcels): Cx123456785AU

For EMS-items: Ex123456785AU


R / C / E - identifier of the type of departure;

x - a Latin letter from A to Z, which allows to ensure the uniqueness of the number;

123456785 - a digital code that allows to ensure the uniqueness of the number;

AU - indicates the country of the sender (in this case Australia - Australia) in accordance with the S10 UPU standard.

It should be kept in mind that it is impossible to determine the recipient's country by the track number of the parcel. This possibility is not in principle envisaged in the structure of the track number.
